Works Better

Works Better was part funded through the European Social Fund and delivered through a collaboration of six partners (Kirklees Council, Fusion Housing and Paddock Community Trust, Calderdale Council, Newground, Wakefield Council and Groundwork) across Kirklees, Calderdale and Wakefield.

Funding

The project received up to £2,875,709.00 of funding from the European Social Fund as part of the 2014-2020 European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme in England.

Works Better Enhanced

Works Better Enhanced was part funded by the European Social Fund and managed by Kirklees Council. It was delivered across the Kirklees District in partnership with Fusion Housing, Paddock Community Trust, Proper Job Theatre Company and Kirklees Neighbourhood Housing.

Works Better Enhanced received up to £4,290,866.78 of funding from the European Social Fund as part of the 2014-2020 European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme in England.

Works Better 15-25

Works Better 15-25 programmes were delivered in partnership with C+K Careers across the Kirklees district.

The Youth Engagement and Progression Programme 2 was part funded through the European Social Fund and was aimed at supporting Kirklees residents into employment, education and or training. It was part of the Youth Engagement and Progression 2 Programme managed by Leeds City Council.

Employment Hub 2 is managed by West Yorkshire Combined Authority in partnership with the Leeds City Region Enterprise Partnership and is aimed at unemployed and employed Kirklees residents helping them into employment or offering support to help them stay in work and advance their careers.

Across the Works Better 1525 programmes, Youth Engagement and Progression Programme 2 received up to £616,886 of funding from the European Social Fund (ESF) as part of the 2014-2020 European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme in England. The Employment Hub 2 will receive up to £1,067,581 of funding from the West Yorkshire Combined Authority. The funding was secured by the Leaders of West Yorkshire Councils and the Combined Authority through the West Yorkshire Devolution Deal. West Yorkshire Combined Authority lead on the programme working in partnership with Leeds City Region Partnership.

 

Positive Minds

Works Better 15 – 25 Positive Minds, was part funded through the European Social Fund, managed by Kirklees Council and delivered in partnership with C & K Careers, Northorpe Hall and Support to Recovery.

The Positive Minds programme received up to £937,185 of funding from the European Social Fund as part of the 2014-2020 European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme in England.
