Jonathan approached Works Better through the Step by Step job clubs in Cleckheaton. Where Debbie, his Transitional Support Worker gave him some support and mentoring in returning to work and to build some confidence again after being made redundant.
Jonathan took part in interview prep and job searches with Debbie and once he felt confident he applied for the role with C&K careers.
Jonathan has a history of working in administrative roles so he felt he had the experience needed to do the job he just needed to be confident in the interview.
Jonathan was successful in securing part time role as a data entry administrator!

We asked Jonathan how he found the induction process when he first started, as it can be quite daunting starting in a new workplace Jonathan commented;
‘’It was a lot to take in and on my first day I thought I would be quite full on, but once I was settled in I found it really useful and it was good to be introduced to everyone in management, and have a better understanding of the team.
I would definitely recommend Works Better to other people looking to find work, I find it really assuring that I know I still have the support from Debbie if I need it and it’s nice to have.’’
